Gregory's Jazz Club

Halfway between Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, a sign on a small door at 54/a Via Gregoriana invites into a unique atmosphere,

a world of flavors and aromas that is one of the best-stocked whisky bars in Rome and an escape into the sound of jazz, the music that never dies. A hidden gem in the heart of Rome.

The windowed door opens up to the grand little whisky bar where a warm and soft light pleasantly graze the hardwood bar counter, the antique, mirror-lined bottle shelves and the white marble tables. The walls are lined with black and white portraits and photographs of great jazz artists and a fine wine selection above. The atmosphere is completed by the musical selection that absorbs you as soon as you step foot into the club.

A wooden staircase takes you to the upstairs floor, where you can enjoy your drink on couches and lounge tables that await you under the warm lights, mirrors, trompe l’oeil shelves and the wooden beam ceiling. Behind the stage a bare brick wall and a window that gives out on the street below, a stage where every night a Yamaha C baby grand piano and a Gretsch drumset await the wind instruments, double-bass and musical talent that’s in store for the night.
